INDIA'S FIRST NCC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

          The NCC Alumni Association strives to provide relevant and valuable services for the cadets . The NCC alumini association was inaugrated by DR RAJENDRAN IAS(Collector of Thiruvannamalai Dist) with the prime objective of helping alumni connect with each other and to promote the accomplishments and support the future development It has provided a path way for the cadets all over the country to come under one roof ,to share their views, innovative ideas, guidence, talents among each other and their fellow cadets.It was a wonderful moment where all the higher officers including the Group captain and the district collector of Thiruvanamalai were honoured in the inaguration function at Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr Rangarajan Dr Sakunthala Engineering College, Avadi, Chennai at 22.02.2009. On every October 2^nd Alumni Association meet is Organised.
      Many of them have splendid accomplishments to their credit in their personal and professional fields bringing laurels. Though there are several local alumni associations, a common forum linking the NCC cadets directly with each other was promoted the NCC Alumni Association under its auspices.
      The Alumni Association was officially inaugurated on 22th February with the following objectives:

• To keep a roster of all NCC Alumni of VEL TECH ENGG COLLEGE and their pertinent data.
• Maintaining the updated and current information of all NCC Alumni of VEL TECH educational institutions.
• To let the alumni acknowledge their gratitude towards NCC
• To encourage, foster and promote close relations between the alumni themselves.
• To promote, in the Alumni Body, an interest in the affairs and well-being of the educational institutions
• To provide and disseminate information regarding their Alma Mater, its graduates, Faculties and students to the Alumni.
• To guide and assist Alumni who have recently completed their courses of study AND keep them engaged in productive pursuits useful to the society.
• To provide a forum for the Alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of the day.
• To organize and coordinate reunion activities of the Alumni
• To undertake all such activities as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above aims and objectives.
